ASA COMMITTEE SIGN-UP

ASA encourages all members to take part in these committees so that we may bring together industry experts who are excited to collaborate as well as educate others on these topics.

Education Committee
  This committee is responsible for providing speakers and topics for the monthly dinner meetings.
Workshop Committee(Sub-Committee of Education)
Works in conjunction with the education committee to keep the membership current and up to date on the latest industry news and changes. Promotes education to the members staff and field workers
Government Relations Committee - (select one or more)
 

Represents the membership through regular meetings with the contracting/procurement departments for local governmental agencies and provides communication between subcontractors and the agency. Keeps the membership current on the latest changes and developments in the local, state, and federal governments.

May Golf Tournament Committee
  This committee is responsible for coordinating the annual golf tournament and exhibitors for the May tournament.
Fall Golf Classic Tournament Committee
  This committee is responsible for coordinating the fall golf tournament.
Membership
  This committee promotes/markets the ASA to prospective members. Welcomes the new members and encourage their involvement in the ASA and coordinates the membership drive.
           Website Committee
       This committee will be review the operation, function and procedures
     of the existing website and make recommendations for its use.
Awards Committee
  This committee is responsible for coordinating the annual awards banquet.
PAC Task Force
  Supports and provides communications with government officials, locally and statewide. To promote candidates that would support the industry.
Industry Partners Committee
  Coordinates meetings and provides agenda items for quarterly meetings with our Industry Partners (architects, engineers, general contractors, construction managers and public agencies/owners).
ASAC Representative
  Representatives attend quarterly meetings with the ASA of California.
